Mandalas Workshop Number of participants: 20 max
Mandala: centring: finding who we are in the Universe.
A Mandala is a circle. The circle is an old and universal symbol. It has power and motion in both the physical and spiritual realms. It is the archetypal symbol for wholeness.
Mandalas are part of art and nature. In art the circle can be a comfort zone. It is centering and helps focus.
A mandala tends to create itself, it has a life of its own and emerges in spite of ourselves. It is the communication between our inner and outer worlds.

The abuse of children is a scourge in our country. In 2004 two women united to raise awareness about Child Abuse. This culminated in a collaborative Exhibition of Art Dolls illustraing the effects of abuse, worked on by various women artists. This exhibition is now housed in the Teddy Bear Clinic environs. The Presentation takes viewers through the exhibition with open discussion after the viewing.
top Prayer flags workshop
20 people max
From high up on the Tibetan plateau the wind blows blessings into the world. The couriers of these blessings are brightly coloured banners called prayer flags. Make such a blessing to use in your own environment and spread blessings to the world.
top Meditation Stone Workshop
Number of participants: 20 max
Meditation stone: to hold in the palm of our hand and cherish.
How many children am I?
With all my children’s children.
Love makes me plural.
We pray for young people growing up in today’s world:
For the bewildered and seeking-that they may find faith in you.
For the abandoned that they might find spheres of usefulness
and arms of love.
For those who have been led into paths of anarchy
and violence-that they may find a way of escape.
May the care of our own be wise and just.
May the love for our own families lead us to compassion for
others in need.
WE pray for ourselves.

Tibetan children are being moved to India for safety. Their journey is long and dangerous. In Dharamsala they are housed in a haven of safety until they are placed into schools and safe homes. These children are constantly at risk and are themselves and endangered group. This audio visual is a small overview of their journey.
