Future Female Leaders Workshop
Selected letters of appreciation from Hlumelo workshop participants. Held at the Drill Hall in Johannesburg, 9 - 13 May 2005.
“I highly appreciate this, cause it actually truly and honestly helped me in all the aspects of my life. Please carry on cause this will make a difference in most people’s lives.” Sibongile Higga top
“I am Sonia Wheeler, I am an only child who live with my father, step mom and her children. My father lost his job a year after my matric and my daughter’s birth. So, yes we are struggling. Imagination lab has opened an opportunity for me and I want to take up Psychology as a career, funnily enough FACE has made my dream even brighter. I need FACE to help me cultivate my dream. If I were given a chance to do something in my life, make it better and give it meaning. I honestly feel this is the route I would love to travel. I’m a mother as well and as a youth I’m aware of problems we have. I’d love to make it better to change the pathway for my own toddler.” Sonia Wheeler

“Thank you to you, the people who made this possible. I am so greatful to ave been given such a wonderful experience to be able to realize my internal power and to learn how to use it to the betterment of myself and the people around me. My name is Fulufelo. I am 19 years old and a woman. I would call myself an ambitious, driven young woman. Now I can use my ambition in a positive way, for that I am truly grateful.” Fulu Nemasetoni
